happy mother’s day from your little violinists’

I never quite seem to be able to put things in the mail, I think it’s a disease that runs in the family, as I know my sister’s suffer from the same symptoms.  So, for mother’s day this year we thought a little violin concert for grandma would make a lovely gift.  Of course, Esme loves to do everything her big brother does, so she played a song for grandma, too.

We had a little party for Esme yesterday, Pablo is getting ready to go out of town for a week, so we celebrated her 2nd birthday early.  Oliver made a little violin for her out of fiddlesticks.  She has been dying to get her hands on his violin and has been known to resort to using ink pens, one under her chin and one for a bow.  Which works just fine except she ends up with an inky face.  She seems quite pleased with her fiddlestick violin.

Happy Mother’s Day!
